VMware vCloud Air Network Program extended

Arrow again selected as a key aggregator

Arrow has been selected as an Aggregator for VMware’s extension to the vCloud® Air™ Network Program (VCAN). The addition of vCloud Air to the program will allow Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to consume vCloud Air for their own use, paid for on a monthly basis. The selection of Arrow - a recent Global VMware Partner Network Award winner - has been driven by the increasing demand for its cloud solutions from providers and resellers, and will expand the reach of the full VMware portfolio.

vCloud Air is a VMware-hosted service which includes virtual private cloud, dedicated cloud, and disaster recovery options. It can be used by MSPs to augment existing platforms, enable global reach, and reduce time to market; all whilst using technology that’s compatible with their existing vCloud environments and familiar to operations teams.

Arrow will deliver vCloud Air through ArrowSphere; a single automated platform to optimize and deliver cloud services. ArrowSphere allows MSPs to acquire VMware products in a way that aligns with their subscription-based business models. As well as, providing significant automation to remove the complexities of provisioning, usage management, billing and reporting.

Graham Crich, EMEA Director Cloud & Service Providers, VMware says, “We welcome Arrow as an Aggregator in the VMware vCloud Air Network. Since 2008, VMware has been working with partners to provide customers with a simple and flexible path to the cloud. We are pleased to have Arrow in the program to help service providers differentiate their businesses through managed services.”
