Prior to joining Nimble, Murphy, 50, served in executive sales leadership roles at Nicira, Inc. and Riverbed Technology. While at Riverbed, Murphy served as senior vice president of sales for the Americas region, where he designed, developed and executed Riverbed’s sales model and built a high-performance sales leadership team focused on execution and customer satisfaction. Over his eight year tenure he played a pivotal role in growing Riverbed’s revenue base from $0 to $800 million. Prior to Riverbed, Murphy served in sales and channel management roles at BlueArc Corporation, EMC and Mercury Interactive.
