Nimble Storage delivers SmartStack Integrated Infrastructure

By leveraging the Nimble Storage Adaptive Flash CS-Series arrays with SAP HANA, enterprise IT organisations can quickly deploy and optimise the performance of workloads running on SAP HANA while maintaining high levels of capacity, data protection, and availability in alignment with their changing business requirements. The certification enables Nimble to participate in SAP’s program for SAP HANA tailored data centre integration using its certified solutions. Through participation in the program, customers can leverage their existing hardware and infrastructure components for their SAP HANA–based environments, providing further choice for organisations even when working in heterogeneous environments.

SAP HANA tailored data centre integration provides enterprises with greater flexibility and choice in their hardware infrastructure selection and mitigates risk while optimising time to value by leveraging existing ecosystems. The Nimble Adaptive Flash platform provides SAP customers with a storage consolidation platform that adapts and optimises to support and speed up deployments of new workloads running on SAP HANA and existing non-SAP HANA application workloads. As part of the Nimble Adaptive Flash platform, Nimble’s cloud-enabled management engine, InfoSight, allows storage workloads to be auto-tuned to maintain high levels of performance.

Leveraging its product certification, Nimble has developed a SmartStack integrated infrastructure platform built on Cisco UCS for SAP HANA that delivers high levels of performance as well as the ability to easily scale storage. SmartStack for SAP HANA provides an end-to-end tested and validated solution so that customers can accelerate deployment and eliminate risks associated with their datacentre infrastructure. The SmartStack for SAP HANA solution is featured in Cisco’s “SAP Build and Price” portal as a reference configuration for end-to-end small, medium and large-sized landscape environments using SAP® Business Suite powered by SAP HANA. Through this integrated offering, Nimble SmartStack becomes an integral part of a mission-critical technology platform. In addition, customers leveraging Nimble’s SmartStack integrated infrastructure platform can obtain end-to-end support through Cisco's Solution Support for Critical Infrastructure offering.
