The Dutch organisation, which has around 1,500 members and over 100 employees, has deployed three Clavister W20 appliances across three locations at its head office and cooling and preparation facilities. The products, which deliver up to 6Gbps of firewalling, will be used to protect sensitive data and provide a robust layer of security to CNB’s customer portal.
Clavister CEO Jim Carlsson commented: “This deployment with CNB demonstrates that our products are trusted to provide the optimum level of protection to highly confidential information, both for organisations and their customers. The W20 is an ideal entry-level firewall that delivers next-generation firewall security as well as an excellent price-performance ratio. Since starting to work with BlackIP we have seen strong interest in our products in the Benelux region reflecting the best-in-class security that we consistently bring to market and we are looking forward to seeing further growth in the coming months.”
CNB selected the Clavister solution for its high-performance capabilities to secure CNB’s current network security requirements and the products’ scalability and flexibility to adapt to its future requirements without having to change the basic hardware platform.
The deal was made through Clavister’s Dutch value added distributor BlackIP, which recently launched a new security-as-a-service (SECaaS) firewall service for its channel partners in the Netherlands. Channel partners can now easily set up their own firewall service for both appliances as well as software-based firewalls and are able to offer their customers unique service features such as the ability to easily up-and down scale on performance and tailor the service features to customer specific needs.
