“Earlier this year, I saw the value of Diablo’s products when I had the chance to announce a system that delivers 99x faster analytics using Memory Channel Storage technology. I am thrilled to be joining a company that provides such compelling value to the customer,” said Yost. “I look forward to broadening the leadership skillset and delivering Diablo-based products to a wider market.”

“During his years in the IT industry, Alex has been at the epicenter of the tectonic changes impacting traditional data centers and IT infrastructures,” said Charles King, Principal Analyst at Pund-IT. “Alex's leadership abilities and deep understanding of businesses' critical computing needs will be invaluable to Diablo and its customers and partners.”

“Memory Channel Storage is gaining wide adoption in the enterprise,” said Badalone. “Adding a prominent industry veteran such as Alex, will expand the organizational capabilities of the leadership team and better position us for future growth.”

Yost has an extensive background in executive management and product development that will keep Diablo’s Memory Channel Storage™ (MCS™) platform on the path towards global adoption. At IBM, Yost led the high-end x86 server business, building the product line to number one market share.
