Alert Logic security solutions now Microsoft Azure certified

Alert Logic says that Alert Logic Threat Manager and Alert Logic Web Security Manager are now Microsoft Azure Certified and will be made available in the Azure Marketplace. The two products will join Alert Logic Log Manager, which has been available in the Azure Marketplace since December of last year. Being Microsoft Azure Certified ensures strong compatibility with applications built on Azure, and inclusion in the Azure Marketplace will make Alert Logic’s managed suite of security solutions available to many more customers, enabling the protection and compliance of exponentially more cloud applications.

In addition, Alert Logic Log Manager is now available as an Extension for Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines. This allows customers to bypass manually downloading and installing the product for quicker and easier installation on new or running virtual machines directly from Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform.

“We are pleased to introduce the Alert Logic suite of managed security solutions more broadly to Azure customers,” said Dave Colesante, Chief Technology Officer of Alert Logic. “Specifically designed for Azure, Alert Logic’s solutions give customers a holistic view into their security posture, thereby eliminating the need to deploy multiple products from different vendors to accommodate different environments.”

Alert Logic offers Security-as-a-Service in the cloud – a platform of fully managed products and services to keep a customer’s data and infrastructure safe and compliant. Whether a company’s IT infrastructure is on-premises, in the cloud or hybrid, the Alert Logic portfolio of solutions and services allow unprecedented visibility into their business environment, providing continuous protection, deep security insight and lower overall security costs.

The complete suite of Alert Logic solutions provides a unique set of benefits to the customer, including:

“Managed suites of security solutions, like Alert Logic, help companies of all sizes secure their networks, systems and applications, wherever they reside,” said Garth Fort, General Manager of Enterprise Partners, Microsoft. “Alert Logic Threat Manager and Alert Logic Web Security Manager now being Microsoft Azure Certified ensures deep integration and compatibility with Azure enabling easy-to-purchase and easy-to-implement security solutions.”
