Lancope, Inc. announces the launch of its global Technology Partner Program to cultivate new and existing partnerships with networking and security industry leaders. By establishing and maintaining tight integration with top technology and security innovators, Lancope enhances its ability to deliver comprehensive, best-of-breed network protection to its hundreds of customers worldwide. Several companies have already signed on to be a part of the Lancope Technology Partner Program, including: Palo Alto Networks, Barracuda Networks, Gigamon and Ziften, just to name a few.

“With the extreme momentum that Lancope has experienced in the market for its unique, behavioral-based security monitoring technology, we are excited to formally align our solutions with the company’s StealthWatch® System to ensure that our customers can take advantage of its powerful network defense capabilities,” said Ananda Rajagopal, vice president of product management at Gigamon. “We look forward to working more closely with Lancope through the new Technology Partner Program to ensure tight system integration and optimum benefits for our joint customers.”

The new Lancope Technology Partner Program defines a formal process for signing on new partners, as well as maintaining consistent communication with existing partners to ensure the continued strength of product integrations. The program is a multi-tier initiative rewarding technology partners with variant levels of technical support, training discounts and joint marketing activities.

“Amidst today’s high levels of network complexity and online threats, no single vendor or technology can provide a total security solution for enterprise networks,” said Mike Potts, president and CEO of Lancope. “By aligning with other forward-thinking technology providers, we will be able to deliver more seamless network protection for our valued customers. We believe that working with Lancope and integrating with our award-winning StealthWatch System will be of great benefit to our technology partners, and we look forward to the contributions that these organisations will also bring to our business.”

Unlike conventional network protection solutions that rely on signature updates to detect only known attacks, or that only block attacks at the perimeter, the StealthWatch System collects and analyzes NetFlow, IPFIX and other types of transactional data inherent in network infrastructure to detect a full spectrum of both known and unknown attacks across the entire network. This in-depth network visibility is combined with enhanced security context including identity, application and device data to dramatically improve real-time threat detection, incident response and network forensics.
