Radware® has announced the appointment of Julian McMenamin as Country Manager for Ireland and Scotland to increase Radware’s European presence amidst the growing Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) mitigation market.

McMenamin brings more than 15 years of experience in the networking and security industry, including senior roles at F5 networks, Juniper Networks and Symantec.
McMenamin’s appointment follows the assignment of Adrian Crawley as Radware’s Regional Director for the UK, further strengthening the company’s regional presence. Reporting to Crawley, McMenamin will focus on strengthening the channel in the two regions, supported by a team of local representatives.

“Julian’s extensive knowledge of the security sector combined with his channel experience will help Radware and our channel partners in Ireland and Scotland take advantage of the lucrative opportunities available in the security market,” says Crawley.

“The global DDoS mitigation market is expected to grow from $95 billion in 2014 to $155 billion in 2019. With Radware’s market leading technology and partner-focused business model, we are confident that our existing and prospective partners are well placed to capitalise.”

McMenamin added: “It’s an exciting time to join Radware following the accelerated growth they have experienced globally over the last 24 months. I hope to use my experience in the security industry, as well as my local knowledge, to help achieve the same great success for Radware partners in Ireland and Scotland.”
