Node4 adds further Cloud expertise to product management team

Node4 has announced the appointment of John Williams as Product Manager. Williams brings 25 years of IT industry experience to Node4, with a strong background managing leading edge Cloud solutions for a range of customers and sectors. The appointment is indicative of Node4’s rapidly growing solutions portfolio, particularly in light of its recent acquisition of LETN Solutions.

Williams adds knowledge of almost every area of the IT industry with a CV that details previous experience in IT engineering, managing partners and product management. He joins Node4 from OnDemand Recovery, a Managed Service Provider of Asigra Cloud backup solutions. Previously he has held positions at Peapod and Bass Brewers, working on high profile projects including managing some of the earliest computer viruses and enabling the birth of FACarling.com, one of the first football websites of its kind.

John Williams, Product Manager, Node4 commented: “Throughout my career I’ve always seen technology as an enabler rather than an inhibitor and have always looked to solve problems as opposed to sell products. All too often IT departments and employees are at loggerheads rather than working together to find ways of delivering technology that follows a business process that makes life easier for people. One of the main things that impressed me about the Node4 team is its ability to listen to customers and provide solutions designed to have a genuine, positive business impact.”

Node4 has recently added extensively to its services portfolio with the acquisition of Cloud infrastructure specialist, LETN Solutions, meaning its N4Cloud platform will provide even more flexibility for customers and partners. In addition to this, Node4 continues to provide more services based on its resilient, secure and flexible N4Cloud platform with products such as Unified Communications as a Service, Disaster Recovery as a Service, Backup to the Cloud and File Sync and Share (FSS) delivered over it.

Paul Bryce, Business Development Director, Node4 said: “John’s expertise in product management and impressive base of technical knowledge will be crucial to Node4 as our solutions portfolio continues to evolve. His experience working within businesses, with partners and with technology makes him an ideal addition to the team as we look to ensure our products and solutions continue to meet the needs of both customers and partners.”
