APTARE StorageConsole 9 increases APTARE’s lead in supporting the widest range of storage systems in the industry, adding NetApp E-Series to existing support for products from Hitachi Data Systems (HDS), Dell, EMC, NetApp, HP, IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, VMware, CommVault, Cisco, Brocade, and Symantec. In addition, the latest versions of Dell Compellent are now supported. StorageConsole 9 allows large enterprise organisations to easily deliver automated chargeback and compliance solutions across their entire data centre and private or public cloud infrastructure. Enterprise users have the option to use out-of-the-box reports or create custom reports to solve unique and complex problems. Reports can be developed and run directly from customer’s APTARE StorageConsole Portal environments or delivered seamlessly from the cloud.
“APTARE now extends our data collection processes to include another major enterprise storage system, with the addition of NetApp E-Series,” says Richard Clark, Founder and CEO of APTARE. “Once the data from the entire environment is collected, it is easier than ever to build and deploy mission-critical reports, dashboards, and analytics so enterprises can recover all of the costs associated with their IT infrastructure via chargeback. Our unique view, that encompasses all aspects of the storage, virtualisation, and data protection environments, gives business units the instrumentation and optics needed to maximise IT efficiencies and drive significant CapEx and OpEx savings”
APTARE customers improve their storage economics by replacing manual scripting and spreadsheet processes with automated reporting and real-time storage and backup intelligence solutions. Many of the world’s largest energy, financial, and healthcare organisations use APTARE to manage environments in excess of 100 PB of storage and 50,000 backup clients, all within a single global private or public cloud portal infrastructure. In addition, Service Providers use APTARE to provide their enterprise customers with better solutions for chargeback, SLA management, compliance, and visibility so they can reduce their costs for managing the IT infrastructure of their customers.
