Cigital, Inc., an industry leader in software security solutions, announced the addition of John Becker, former CEO of SourceFire, to the Company’s Board of Directors. Becker’s proven business and technology leadership will be a valuable resource to the Cigital Board and executive team as the Company continues its current growth trajectory.
With more than 30 years of experience, John Becker brings a deep understanding of the information security market and its unique dynamics. Known for his strong operational, financial and visionary skills, Becker has led innovative and disruptive technology companies that have been consistently recognized for annual growth rates among the highest in their respective markets. Becker is currently Chairman of the Board of KEMP Technologies, Inc. and on the Boards of The Neat Company and ScienceLogic. Becker was most recently CEO of SourceFire prior to its acquisition by Cisco in a $2.7B deal that closed in October 2013. Previously, Becker was CEO of Approva, CEO of CyberTrust, CEO of TruSecure, and Chairman and CEO of AXENT Technologies.
