VS Security Product’s reputation for the design and manufacture of world class degaussers is second to none. The audit trail Erasure Log Software, designed exclusively for the DataGauss, DATAGONE and SDD Master range of pulse technology degaussers, provide companies with extra peace of mind and hard copy evidence that a device has been securely erased.
The printable Media Destruction Record details: company information (including company, operator and supervisor names and whether the device is degaussed on or off site); media owner information (company name and department); media information (type, serial number, capacity, part number, security classification, remarks); degausser details (date/time, type of degausser, model, serial number, firmware version, number of cycles); destruction details (capacitor voltage, magnetic field gauss, result).
These unique degaussers are supplied with a software disk and a USB cable, for connecting a PC or laptop to the degausser. There is also an optional bar code scanner for fast data input.

The degausser audit trail Erasure Log Feature is available on VS Security Product’s pulse technology models: DataGauss LG (a Continuous Duty, single pass operation for hard disk drives and backup tapes), DataGauss XL-LG (same as the DataGauss LG but with a degaussing chamber that accommodates extra large (full height hard disk drives and backup tapes), DATAGONE LG (a fully automatic, high volume single pass operation for hard disk drives and back-up tapes) and the SDD Master (a NSA approved Maximum Security Degausser for hard disk drives and back-up tapes).
