Amanda brings a wealth of global strategic marketing & leadership experience to the StorMagic team and in this appointment will guide global marketing & partnership efforts for the company’s industry-leading SvSAN virtual storage software.
In addition, StorMagic announced it has expanded its worldwide sales force, adding staff in field sales, support, testing and operations. The new hires boost StorMagic’s global footprint and provide added support for new and existing customers. In addition, Matthew Durkin – the company’s executive vice president of sales who joined the company in March – has joined the company’s Board of Directors.
Jobbins comes to StorMagic from The Sage Group PLC in the United Kingdom, where she served as group chief marketing officer. Prior to that, she served as global vice president of marketing and chief of partner marketing at Cisco and the chief marketing officer in Europe for both Symantec and McAfee. Jobbins also has held executive marketing roles at IBM Storage Systems Division & BMC Software based in Silicon Valley. She was named the International Marketer of the Year by the Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2011 and one of the top 100 Women to Watch in Cranfield School of Management’s 2014 FTSE Board Report.
Jobbins holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and German from the University of Hull.
