Dell has selected Avago’s 12Gb/s SAS technology for use in its latest lineup of Dell PowerEdge RAID Controllers (PERC9) for their 13th generation PowerEdge Servers. The powerful technology combination helps enable Dell PowerEdge servers to deliver new levels of application acceleration, significant cost savings, and simplified and streamlined storage management.
Data centre, cloud and high-performance computing environments not only require large amounts of storage capacity, they also must provide the data protection and performance today’s applications and end users demand. The latest generation of Dell PowerEdge servers using Avago 12Gb/s SAS with MegaRAID® technology is Dell’s most advanced and easy-to-manage portfolio yet for customers grappling with the evolving spectrum of applications and workloads.
