Concurrent Thinking data centre competition winner announced

In May 2014, Concurrent Thinking offered the opportunity to win an Apple iPad Air 16GB with Wi-Fi by completing a short survey on your data centre.

We were delighted to receive of abundance of completed surveys and are happy to announce that Stuart Griffiths of Kcom was the winning recipient.

“It’s great to be selected by Concurrent Thinking to win this prize. I was interested in finding out more about how a DCIM solution could help us improve our data centre’s efficiency. Concurrent Thinking’s offering certainly looks packed with features and I’m looking forward to talking to the company in more depth,” Griffiths said.
Kcom, a leading information and communications service provider, have developed strategic partnerships with organisations such as Pheonix IT Services and BT. They are experts in collaboration, contact, mobile, connectivity, managed services and cloud. They help organisations make sense of the IT landscape and improve engagement across their organisations.

What did the data centre survey entail?
The survey, hosted by DataCentre Solutions Europe, included questions focused on the running and monitoring of data centres. It took less than five minutes to complete and entry was entirely free with no payments or purchases necessary.

Questions regarding a data centre’s size, current monitoring systems and reported findings were asked and upon completion of the survey, every entrant was eligible to win a free Apple iPad Air.

Why did we run the survey?
We ran the survey to find out more about you, your data centre and your processes. Through our single, scalable DCIM (Data Centre Infrastructure Management) solution, we aim to encompass the requirements of any data centre.

In order to achieve this, we aim to reduce your data centre’s energy bills and operational costs and this survey helped us further understand the needs of data centres and how the use of our Concurrent COMMAND can help.
