Quiss Technology wins Ashton KCJ managed IT services contract

Quiss Technology PLC has secured the contract to provide IT services to East Anglian law firm Ashton KCJ, following a competitive three-way pitch. The leading managed IT services provider will complement the firm’s in-house IT resources, supporting 300 users across seven locations, in a deal worth £1.2m over five years. The deal includes a dedicated Infrastructure hosted by Quiss Technology in their own Tamworth data centre, with replication back to one of Ashton KCJ’s sites, to help with the firm’s business continuity provision.

Nick Hayne, Professional Services Manager at Quiss Technology commented: “It is immensely gratifying to understand the service we are offering is one that law firms of the stature of Ashton KCJ find attractive.

“I believe the fact we recently became the UK’s first IT services provider to be ISO 27001:2013 certified was an important factor in our success. It stands testament to our commitment to ensuring data remains secure and confidential at all times; major considerations for any law firm seeking the ideal, privately-owned, UK-based hosting partner.”

Tabatha Forbes, Chief Information Officer at Ashton KCJ commented: “We are delighted to have awarded this contract to Quiss following our robust procurement exercise. We have found them to be professional, knowledgeable and flexible from the outset. This has been a big decision for the firm and I have every confidence in Quiss’ ability to meet our needs, and hopefully exceed them too!”

Edward O’Rourke, Ashton KCJ’s Chief Executive Officer, added: “First class technology solutions will be even more key to the successful delivery of legal services in the future than they have been in the past and having a resilient Infrastructure is a core component of this. We are confident that choosing Quiss is the right move for Ashton KCJ as we embark on a range of other new projects and developments across the firm.”
