SafeNet’s encryption and key management solutions enable Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers to encrypt and move their most sensitive data and applications into the cloud while maintaining high levels of data protection. Customers can now purchase annual subscriptions to cover steady-state workloads in exchange for a product discount, and to budget their software expenses over time, which can help lower spending between 10 to 40 per cent.

The combination of SafeNet’s enterprise encryption and key management products, along with AWS’ highly scalable, secure, and flexible platform, is a compelling offering for customers deploying sensitive workloads in AWS. ProtectV is a full-disk encryption solution for virtual instances. Virtual KeySecure is a hardened software appliance that manages and securely stores the encryption keys for ProtectV.

The SafeNet products are already available in hourly pricing models on AWS Marketplace and the new annual pricing models make budgeting and forecasting software expenses easier for organisations. Customers can launch hourly and easily migrate to annual pricing without submitting paperwork, purchasing new license keys, or installing new software. This provides them with a simple, trusted, and secure way to quickly leverage SafeNet security offerings on demand.
