AdaptiveMobile joins Intel® Network Builders Program

AdaptiveMobile has joined the Intel® Network Builders programme, a cross-industry initiative which is focused on providing an ecosystem to encourage the development of Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and Software Defined Networking (SDN) based solutions.

Participating in the programme encourages collaboration among members and seeks to increase ecosystem alignment, leading to the design of world-class solutions. The Intel® Network Builders ecosystem is a comprehensive selection of communications solutions providers. As a mobile service provider-led initiative, NFV is transforming telecommunications networks and the ecosystem will help accelerate this network transformation by leveraging best-in-breed SDN/NFV vendors.
“AdaptiveMobile is a committed player in the NFV community and our solutions already meet the participation criteria set by the Intel® Network Builders programme,” said Brian Collins, CEO, AdaptiveMobile. “We have always deployed on standard Intel architecture-based platforms, with our own highly efficient packet processing capability that does not rely on custom silicon or third party packet processors. We plan to enhance this capability further through the Intel® Network Builders programme. We are also hypervisor agnostic and have live deployments running on multiple hypervisor technologies including VMware and KVM.”

As a technology approach NFV is evolving with over 30 of the world’s largest network operators driving that evolution. The ETSI charter promotes collaboration and sharing to ensure that participants can move rapidly forward together to allow the entire operator community to realise the cost efficiencies, quicker time to market and innovation that the introduction of NFV heralds. By joining Intel® Network Builders programme AdaptiveMobile will remain central to the security of mobile operators everywhere.
