Key Appointments to take UKFast to next level

Hosting firms adds commercial and sales directors to the board.

Hosting and colocation firm UKFast has appointed two new directors to its board to accommodate its ongoing growth.

Charlotte Bentley-Crane, former director of account management at the firm joins the board as Commerical Director, while Rudi Feitsma joins as Sales Director.
Feitsma joined the firm in 2012 as director of data centre sales and recently moved to the main brand, UKFast. Joining the board of directors, Feitsma brings global experience to the team having worked for international brands Ericsson and Vodafone in Australia, the US and the UK.

Bentley-Crane joins the board at just 26 years old, having spent five years with the firm and grown through the ranks since joining as a graduate in 2008.

UKFast CEO Lawrence Jones said: “Although many traditional firms may question appointing someone so young to the board, for us it is a natural progression. Age is not an issue when it comes to running a company. There is no better candidate for the role.

“With Charlotte and Rudi joining us at the helm of the UKFast, there really are no limits to where we can go. We are continuing to grow in terms of turnover and the team; and we are adding more and more amazing, innovative products to our portfolio. It’s a really exciting time for UKFast.”

UKFast recently announced plans for its ‘Year of Giving’ committing £100,000 to charity throughout 2014. The company also continues to develop its new HQ, based at the edge of Manchester’s Technology Park, last month launching a fully equipped, 300-seat auditorium space free of charge for businesses, schools and networking groups across the city.
