Virtus Data Centres collaborates with euNetworks

euNetworks extends VIRTUS’ reach to European marketplace.

Virtus Data Centres Ltd. has announced a partnership with euNetworks Group Limited (SGX: 5VT.SI), Europe’s bandwidth infrastructure provider. Under the terms of this new agreement, euNetworks is delivering a scalable Dark Fibre solution to meet the growing connectivity demands of Virtus’ LONDON2 Data Centre in Hayes.
The connectivity solution being deployed by euNetworks offers diverse ducts into the data centre, with multiple sub ducts per duct and high fibre count cables. Each fibre pair can support nx10Gb or 100Gb wavelength connectivity, meaning this data centre will be one of the quickest and easiest facilities for customers to connect into, from tier 1 and tier 2 carriers, to high bandwidth consuming enterprises and cloud companies. With this partnership, Virtus customers will also benefit from seamless access to euNetworks high speed metropolitan network across London and its connectivity to over 240 data centres in the UK and across Europe.

“Connectivity has become a deciding factor for customers looking at which data centre to co-locate in,” said Neil Cresswell, Chief Executive Officer of Virtus Data Centres. “We are already known as one of the most innovative data centre providers in the UK as a result of our flexible Colo-on-Demand, Connectivity-on-Demand and flexible V range portfolio of racks, pods and suites. Our partnership with euNetworks means we can now combine superior connectivity with our highly flexible approach to data centre service delivery and customer friendly packages. Our customers now have access to an extremely rich carrier environment and unparalleled connectivity options across London, the UK and Europe, from Dark Fibre to IP connectivity.”

“Virtus’ LONDON2 data centre brings a new generation of colocation offering to the London market,” said Brady Rafuse, Chief Executive Officer of euNetworks. “This combined with our fibre based metropolitan network and technical expertise delivers a great proposition for customers. We are excited to be working with Virtus and look forward to a long lasting relationship, providing them with scalable bandwidth to meet their growing demands.”

“The partnership with euNetworks is a significant milestone for Virtus and means that enterprise and cloud customers, with mid to large size colo requirements, will now benefit from superior connectivity to large, well connected, low cost and high quality space in London,” continued Cresswell.
