Data protection solution provider Veeam has named Softcat its top performing ProPartner in Northern EMEA following a year of sustained high revenues. Softcat will accept the award formally at Veeam’s 2013 EMEA Partner Awards ceremony in Istanbul on May 15 and 16th.
Softcat provides Veeam’s solutions to UK businesses seeking to protect and back up their data and ensure smooth business continuity. In 2013 Softcat’s Veeam revenues exceeded any other reseller in northern EMEA.
“We’re delighted to have been recognised as the top performing reseller in the northern EMEA. This award demonstrates two things: the quality and popularity of Veeam’s data protection solutions, and the commitment of Softcat’s staff to engaging our customers and promoting our partners’ products and services,” said Sam Routledge, Solutions Director at Softcat. “Veeam is a highly valued long-standing Softcat partner, and we work hard to promote its data protection and backup solutions to customers seeking easy to use and affordable solutions that fit with the modern data centre.”
“Today’s businesses no longer have tolerance for downtime, IT failures or lack of business continuity,” said Gilles Pommier, EMEA Channel Vice President at Veeam Software. “Our most successful partners are those who recognise this and the evolution of the modern data centre, while also understanding its impact on the always-on business. Our award-winning Veeam ProPartner Program provides the tools partners need to become trusted advisors to their customers, gain exclusive access to resources that will drive license and service business, create new opportunities, increase profitability, and help close deals faster. Our partners’ success is our mission. We aren’t successful unless we’re making our partners successful. As we prepare to announce our 100,000th customer, we recognize that milestone is a result of our top partners, many of which we are recognising with these awards.”
Veeam’s solutions maintain business continuity and help to prevent failures and downtime, enabling the ‘Always-On Business’.
