Venus Communications has launched a strategic point of presence at LDeX via BT, signalling the strength and growth of the carrier neutral London based data centre colocation and network services provider.

As the leased line network provider of choice for London businesses requiring fast fibre internet, Venus will be complementing LDeX’s existing list of tier 1 and tier 2 carriers which already have PoPs in LDeX1 offering customers access to connectivity providers over diverse dark fibre.

Commenting on the news, Rob Garbutt, CEO said: ‘We are delighted that Venus has strategically chosen LDeX to deploy a point of presence at the LDeX1 facility to extend its fibre network reach to businesses operating in London. This enhances our position as the carrier neutral colocation and network partner of choice for low latency business connectivity.’

He added ‘This partnership will provide LDeX customers with low cost high speed access to businesses based in central London over the Venus dark fibre network.’
Justin Keery, Director at Venus said: ‘This point of presence was a strategic choice for us to extend our presence in London and to further enhance our fibre network offering providing businesses with low latency connectivity via our dark fibre network.’
