Maintenance contract for Yorkshire Building Society

GSH Group have been awarded a five year contract with The Yorkshire Building Society (YBS). YBS are the UK’s second largest building society and this is the first time in their history that they have opted for a single supplier to manage their entire estate.

GSH will be responsible for the provision of technical services across the company’s entire UK property portfolio totaling in excess of 250 properties. This incorporates all retail and office buildings in addition to supporting four business critical data centres.

The decision to award GSH the contract was based on their proven experience to meet the key drivers for YBS including driving efficiencies, ensuring compliance standards are met and providing a safe working environment for all employees.

Clive Clarke, Managing Director at GSH, UK & Ireland, said: “We worked hard to ensure that we fully understood the requirements of YBS and were therefore able to develop our solution to fit their bespoke requirements. This prestigious contract win demonstrates that we are still industry leaders within the financial sector with the necessary skills and expertise to deliver high levels of efficiency while driving up standards.”
