Siemon reports to have selected the distributor as its partner thanks to its customer-focused approach and established relationships with installers and integrators in the Danish market. According to the manufacturer, Coferro is also recognised for offering market-leading service in terms of stock availability, speed of delivery and breath of product range.
Explaining Siemon’s aspirations for its exclusive distribution relationship with Coferro, sales manager, Dan Vout elaborated, “Clearly Coferro has a secure and well-established business supporting data centres and enterprise networks in Denmark. To build upon this, we plan to offer our extensive range of data centre products with Coferro and support further development in this important market. Plus we are looking to take advantage of a growing opportunity for shielded copper networks in Denmark, driven by the needs of POE and Intelligent Buildings.”
According to Siemon, an essential part of its support for Coferro will be in the provision of training for new Certified Installers and refresher courses for those already qualified. Being able to see products first hand is important and so Siemon plans to build a data centre demonstration suite at Coferro’s offices in Herlev. Dan Vout explains, “For those making decisions about data centre infrastructure and design, we want to provide a complete end-to-end experience that allows every aspect of the data centre ecosystem to be considered and thoroughly evaluated.”
Enthusiastic about the new partnership, Coferro’s CEO, Henrik Tryon declared, “Siemon’s high performance, high quality products and systems perfectly complement our existing brands and extend our offering to networking professionals. We share a belief that providing consultancy and support create greater value for our customers and we are excited to be able to access and offer Siemon’s considerable technical resources. Just one example of this is its data centre design service that we will be able to share with our installers, integrators and their clients.”
Denmark is known for its world class design and high standards of living. According to Siemon, this echos its expectations for working with Coferro: “Together we will set the standard for cabling infrastructure in Denmark.
