Pivot3 has appointed Mike Dunbar as Vice President of Global Sales for virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) products. In his new role, Dunbar will be responsible for driving all VDI sales and sales engineering. He will report to Pivot3 CEO Ron Nash.
Dunbar is a seasoned senior sales executive with more than 27 years of experience in the technology industry, fostering strategic relationships, developing business partnerships and working with strategic accounts. He most recently served as President of North American Sales for Allied Telesis. Previously, he was Senior Director Sales of Enterprise Management, as well as IT Business Management at VMware. During his career, Dunbar also held the roles of Senior Director of Sales for enterprise solutions, EMC; Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Operations, Configuresoft; and Director of Federal Sales, Securify. Dunbar holds a B.S. degree from Penn State and an M.S. degree from Capital College, both focused on information technology.
