Tintri has appointed Doug Rich as Vice President (VP) of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Rich is responsible for establishing a successful European sales team and accelerating growth throughout the region.
Rich has over 20 years of IT experience and a proven track record for growing revenues across a number of start ups and established vendors. He joins Tintri from EMC, where he was responsible for Isilon sales in Northern Europe. Before that, Rich was at VERITAS in EMEA for 10 years.
Designed from the ground up, Tintri solutions are at the leading edge of storage technology for virtualisation and cloud environments. Rich has been appointed to develop the company’s network of channel distributors and resellers in the region and build a sales team that will establish Tintri as a key storage player in EMEA. Under his leadership, Tintri aims to extend its rapid growth trajectory and presence throughout the UK, Europe and South Africa.
