Corero Network Security has appointed Adrian Bisaz as Vice President Sales, EMEA. Based out of Switzerland, Adrian is tasked with driving Corero’s business forward across EMEA, as well as further develop Corero’s channel programme.

Bisaz has over 20 years’ experience in International Sales of new technologies, solutions, and products, having worked within Telecoms, Networking, IT, and Mobile technologies. Adrian’s most recent role was Head of Mobile Services at Swisscom SA, a leading Telecom and IT Provider in Switzerland, where he established new mobile service offerings for Enterprise Customers. Prior to this. Adrian spent ten years as the General Manager at New Market Ventures, working with many new companies to grow their business and partner network across Europe. “We’re very excited to welcome Adrian to Corero, and believe that with his skills and significant expertise he will continue to drive Corero’s First Line of Defence solutions across EMEA, and within the Channel,” said David Ahee, Corero’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. “Adrian has a proven track record in sales and business development within IT and Networking and will be a real asset to Corero as we continue to protect private and public organisations from cyber-attacks.”

“I am very much looking forward to working with Corero in building on their already impressive customer base, and working to develop the existing channel strategy.” commented Adrian Bisaz. “DDoS attacks come in all shapes and sizes, and regardless of the size or complexity of the attack, the downtime associated with an attack can result in significant revenue losses. I’ll be working closely with the sales teams and our partners to deliver Corero’s first class solutions to business across EMEA.”

Corero’s First Line of Defense solutions are real-time network attack prevention devices that protect IT infrastructure against sophisticated DDoS attacks, zero-day, advanced targeted server attacks and other unwanted traffic before it hits an organisation’s infrastructure.
