Transmode appoints Mark Stevens as VP Asia-Pacific

Transmode says that Mark Stevens has been appointed as VP Asia-Pacific (APAC). Mr. Stevens will be responsible for the company's activities in the fast-growing region and will be based in Singapore, which has been his home for several years.

Transmode's CEO, Karl Thedéen, commented, "I am delighted to be welcoming Mark to our team at such an exciting and pivotal point in the company's growth in the APAC region. He brings 20 years' experience in the telecommunications industry in the APAC region and has the senior management vision that will help lead our regional team."


The appointment of Mr. Stevens comes at a time of rapid growth in the APAC region for Transmode, which includes the company's recent significant win of Hutchison Global Communications as a major customer in Hong Kong. He will be responsible for sales management and other regional functions such as APAC customer support. Mr. Stevens will join the company's management team and will report directly to CEO, Karl Thedéen.
Mr. Stevens, an Australian by birth, has held senior management positions in Asia for companies including Nortel Networks and most recently at ECI Telecom. He has an excellent knowledge of the region's operators, service providers and major enterprises at a senior management level. He holds an MBA from the University of Melbourne and an BEng in Electrical Engineering from Monash University.
