With businesses around the world looking to leverage their Big Data for competitive advantage, Syncsort, a global leader in high-performance Big Data integration software, has announced the availability of international versions of all Windows, Linux, Unix, and Hadoop versions of its Sort and ETL products.
Syncsort’s DMX and DMX-h solutions, which enable offload of expensive and inefficient data processing workloads from legacy data warehouses and mainframe systems, are now available in English, French, German, Japanese, and Chinese.

The explosion of Big Data initiatives across the world is reflected in a recent IDC presentation which notes that the promise of better and faster data-driven decision-making has pushed this technology to the top of executive agendas.
“The hype around Big Data is coming to an end, signifying the beginning of a long-term adoption trend that will expose myriad opportunities and challenges,” said Dan Vesset, program vice president for IDC's Business Analytics Solutions. "Recent research with IT organisations who want to leverage Big Data for business analytics found data integration to be the biggest challenge, indicating it will be an area of increasing demand.”
