Simplestream has chosen the LDeX 1 data centre to host its London-based Media Hub facility. The LDeX1 Data Centre located in North London is fast gaining a reputation for its media and streaming capabilities with its choice of high bandwidth, ultra-low latency CDN networks, high power density rack options and multiple satellite downlink providers giving access to multiple satellites and hundreds of TV channels. Simplestream Media Hub offer’s downlinking, encoding, packaging, storage and secure streaming of premium broadcast content, including Digital Rights Management solutions from Adobe, Microsoft and Strategy & Technology.

Adam Smith, CEO and Founder of Simplestream, said, “We are pleased that the London Data Exchange is now home to our London Media Hub, which securely streams over 80 channels in the UK and across Europe. We are fully committed as a business to ensure the best content security for our premium broadcast partners and have been recently certified by the Federation Against Copyright Theft (FACT) in recognition of the high levels of service and security we provide.”

Rob Garbutt, CEO at LDeX said: “We are delighted that Simplestream chose LDeX as its streaming data centre and connectivity partner for their media and streaming hub.
