Easynet Global Services partners with Zscaler

Zscaler, the global security cloud for the mobile enterprise, and Easynet Global Services, the managed cloud infrastructure provider, have announced a partnership to deliver Zscaler’s Direct-to-Cloud Network (DCN) security to Easynet’s customers to meet the growing demand for globally-secured Internet access and policy enforcement in EMEA.

Adrian Thirkill, UK MD and COO, Easynet Global Services said: “Now that IT has become a driver to achieving an organisation’s strategic objectives, IT departments are facing a new and worrying set of security challenges. By changing the traditional corporate network security model into one that has Cloud at its heart, businesses can achieve more security, flexibility and cost savings. With Zscaler we gain a partner whose sole focus is on making IT safe for businesses, leaving them free to focus on gaining a competitive edge in their markets. Zscaler gives assurance, peace of mind and flexibility, a magic combination”.

With this partnership Easynet will be able to offer a highly integrated service to its customers including consultancy, implementation of security policies and ongoing support. By moving to a cloud-based Web security service the customer no longer has the burden and costs of administration of a traditional hub-and-spoke enterprise network and security model.

“Enterprises are challenged to secure employee access to the Internet from multiple devices and locations. The Cloud has become the solution of choice to protect enterprise users and their data against Advanced Persistent Threats, so we are looking forward to broaden the reach of our Direct-to-Cloud Network with the help of Easynet in EMEA,” states Craig Stewart, Vice President EMEA of Zscaler. “Our Cloud-based service is the perfect fit for their Managed Security Portfolio and delivers a strong joint value proposition to their customers.”
