Keystone jack

Excel Networking Solutions, the copper and optical cabling infrastructure provider has added a new Category 6A Low Profile Unscreened Toolless Keystone Jack to its range.

The new jack has an overall depth of just 28mm which allows for multiple cable entry directions to be accommodated when this jack is mounted in a standard depth back box. This permits many mounting options including flush shutters at the outlet as well as more common angled shutters used with keystone jacks.

Commenting on the announcement Simon Robinson, Product Manager said ‘Our Category 6A solution is widely accepted in the market place and we’ve already seen numerous high profile installations including Coca Cola, The Co-Op, Eon and Nokia to name but a few.’

Simon continued ’We are continually developing the range and adding new products to the portfolio, the new low profile Category 6A jack follows in the same format as our already popular Category 6 and 5e versions. The feedback on this small footprint jack has been excellent and we’re pleased to be able to offer a Category 6A option to support 10 Gigabit Ethernet.’

Simon concluded ‘As with many products in the Category 6A and 6 range the new low profile 6A toolless jack has full Delta verification, this means that the products are tested, by a 3rd party organisation, to ensure they meet the relevant standard. This together with the 25 year system warranty, when installed by an authorised partner, gives the end user complete confidence in the system.’
