Onyx makes key appointments

Paul Crinnion, Group Operations Director, and James Carver, Commercial Director, are the two people brought on board to ensure that Onyx continue to deliver services which uphold the highest of industry and client standards.

Following recent expansions to their infrastructure, including the £2m investment in their Yorkshire facility and the opening of a 5th data hall in their Edinburgh data centre, the appointments of Paul and James have been the latest in a series of investments that Onyx have made to their staff.
Paul has an extraordinary level of experience working for some of the most well-known organisations in the technology industry. Having held senior technical roles with Vodafone, Orange, Cisco, Motorola, Sitel and more, Paul’s experience will be invaluable as he looks to develop the operational processes of Onyx in order to adhere to, and excel against, industry standards.

Paul commented: “Onyx are an extremely ambitious company and I feel that I am joining at what is an incredibly exciting time for the organisation. Continuously pursuing perfection in your business processes is an integral part of remaining at the forefront of the market and this is particularly prevalent in the technology industry as there are new developments arising constantly.

Having previously worked as the Managing Director of Business Continuity and Risk Management, the appointment of James as Commercial Director will see him refocus his efforts in order to develop the organisation from a commercial standpoint. Using the experience that he has built up over a number of years working for highly reputable technology companies such as EMC and Northamber, James will be attempting to explore and develop a number of commercial avenues for Onyx, in particular the partnership programme that is currently in place.

James commented: “Having recently invested heavily in our infrastructure the company is ready to push forward to new levels from a commercial standpoint. With advanced facilities in place we are now able to cater to the ever increasing demands of clients as their businesses become more and more reliant on technology.
