Infortrend EonNAS 3000 Series expands

Infortrend® has announced the launch of its EonNAS 3012 and EonNAS 3016 products, which join the EonNAS 3000 series to provide even more comprehensive high availability NAS solutions for enterprises. These versatile systems use redundant hardware and the advanced ZFS file system to ensure data protection, which is of paramount importance to all enterprises. They help maintain continuous access to mission-critical data towards increased productivity and business growth while preventing interruptions to daily operations.

Select EonNAS 3012/3016 series models feature dual redundant controllers, giving them enhanced fault tolerance and failover performance to minimise downtime. Other models can be easily upgraded from a single controller to dual configuration, offering buyers more flexibility based on planned spending. The powerful ZFS file system on EonNAS 3000 series products includes automatic error detection and recovery, unlimited snapshot, remote replication, pool mirror, and deduplication. These features enable strong data backup performance, coupled with the ease of management and file sharing offered by the deployment of Global Namespace.

Infortrend EonNAS 3012 and 3016 systems offer enterprises more options, serving them with models that match different budgets, performance requirements, and storage size demands. They deliver extensive scalability to fit diverse needs, with cost-effective EonNAS 3012 models using a 2U/12-bay form factor, and high performance EonNAS 3016 models shipping in 3U/16-bay. The new systems use processors that vary from dual-core Intel® Celeron® to quad-core Intel® Xeon®. For flexible host connectivity, products feature four or more Gigabit Ethernet ports per controller, plus optional 10GbE and Fibre Channel ports.
