This senior executive announcement follows shortly after the appointment of Ray Smets as VP of Worldwide Sales and demonstrates A10's rapidly growing commercial opportunities.

Jason is a seasoned marketing executive with over 17 years of experience in the technology, data networking and security industry. Most recently, Jason was Vice President of Marketing at Big Switch Networks where he led Corporate and Product Marketing strategy from the initial corporate launch through early product category evangelization, and built category leadership in the emerging Software-defined Networking (SDN) product category.
Jason started his career in the mid-1990s at Cisco Systems, where he managed the product management team for the company's industry-leading, multi-billion dollar fixed-configuration Ethernet switching product suite. Directly following, he was appointed Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Neoteris, where he developed the company's product strategy to become the market leader in the emerging SSL VPN market, which has now become a greater than half-billion dollar product category. Following rapid growth, Neoteris was first acquired by NetScreen and then subsequently acquired by Juniper Networks. Jason was also an early stage investor and Partner at Battery Ventures, where he helped to build eight start-ups. Jason has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA with honors from UCLA.

"I am excited for Jason to join our leadership team as we continue to hire the best, and improve and expand our product portfolio," said Lee Chen, Founder and CEO for A10 Networks. "Our worldwide customers and partners will benefit from Jason's Marketing leadership experience and strategy to drive global brand awareness, product management excellence and market expansion for our industry leading solutions."

"I am excited to lead A10's worldwide marketing team," said Jason Matlof, VP of Worldwide Marketing for A10 Networks. "A10 has the unique technology foundation to enable a significant disruption in the application networking industry, and we are one of only a select class of vendors that can do this. I look forward to expanding our brand recognition and market presence with partners and customers worldwide, as well as working with the world-class A10 team."
