Becrypt announces the availability of extensions to its Enterprise Data Protection suite, through its new mShare product. Supporting the need for informed and comprehensive risk management, mShare enables organisations to control how data is encrypted on external devices with the flexibility to access and save the data from any location, with centralised management enforcing uniquely rich event and data modification auditing, as well as supporting device tracking.
mShare addresses what remains a major headache for security conscious organisations by providing flexible device and secure media encryption functionality that bridges the needs of organisations that have previously banned media and those that have ignored the associated risks. Tracking the significant developments in related Government policy, Becrypt has built on its range of certified products to more comprehensively meet the demands of today’s enterprise environments without compromising security. mShare may be used from both Enterprise and un-managed Windows End Points without the need for administrator rights or the need to install additional software. Responding to the growth in Thin-Client adoption, mShare supports Becrypt’s virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) platform (tVolution).
Dr Bernard Parsons, CEO at Becrypt, said: “Becrypt mShare is a great way for organisations to save data safely to external devices to work on from any location and to share with third parties. Its flexibility is unmatched by any other products currently on the market, and we believe it offers an excellent alternative to hardware encrypted devices, at a much lower cost.”
