Borri expands Rotation UPS range

Borri Ltd has unveiled the latest upgrade to its high efficiency rotation series. Replacing the former Rotation+ 6-10kVA, the new plug ‘n’ play B500R UPS solution has been designed using the most technically advanced components available, enabling it to achieve industry leading power resilience and up to 98% operational efficiency.

Incorporating the safest mode of operation, online double conversion as well as ECO modes, the flexible Borri B500R UPS units have a 0.9 output power factor and are proven to achieve 28% more useable power than other comparable UPS systems. Its ECO functions can also help businesses to significantly cut energy bills and reduce their carbon footprint.

Built with internal bypass switches, users can carry out maintenance and battery replacements safely without the need to power down. This user flexibility makes the compact rack/tower convertible B500R UPS solution ideal for small to medium sized data centres, IT facilities and telecoms.
Designed to offer easy scalability, the B500R series can incorporate additional runtime with unlimited battery modules. N+1 redundancy to share the critical load can also be achieved with the parallel positioning of another B500R UPS unit.

Carrying the same affordability and multifunctional characteristics as the others in its range, the B500R rotation UPS solution comes with a smart, adjustable dot matrix LCD display with an intuitive menu system and intelligent monitoring and shutdown software.

This software is compatible with a multitude of operating systems including Windows, Linux, IBM and HP and as well as virtualised platforms such as VMware ESX 3.5, 4.0, 4.1 and VMware ESXi 4.0, 4.1, 5.0, 5.1.

With state-of-the-art design functionality and up to the minute technology Borri’s B500R is feature rich and achieves optimum efficiency and UPS reliability. It is already making its mark as a genuine industry leading product thanks to its unique compactness and supreme resilience.
Borri remains committed to improving back-up power solutions, investing in new technologies and designing all its products with power protection as their primary function. This approach has earned the company its well respected nationwide reputation and which is why Borri is the number one choice amongst many leading blue chip companies.
