Addressing modern networking requirements

A10 has confirmed a series of educational seminars in Germany, France and the UK, which will provide insight into the business benefits offered by A10's Thunder Series Unified Application Service Gateways (UASGs), which are next-generation Application Delivery Controllers (ADCs). The road shows will provide demonstrations of the recently launched A10 Thunder™ UASGs, including practical and up to date information to help networks, data centers and service providers address capacity and security concerns.

"IT managers have to deal with ever increasing demands from bandwidth hungry applications in networks often based on hardware designed for the much less intensive environment," explained Andre Stewart, A10's VP of EMEA Sales. "Introducing advanced functionality and consolidating premium, all-inclusive application services into a single and easy to manage platform allows businesses to optimize and scale their existing infrastructure, and reduce latency and costs through device consolidation with increased management efficiency."

Next Generation Unified Application Service Gateway functionality consolidates premium application services in a single, compact and easy to manage platform. The demonstrations are based on A10's scalable and flexible Advanced Core Operating System (ACOS) architecture, encompassing ADCs and Server Load Balancers, and also including application services such as Carrier Grade NAT (CGNAT) for IPv4 preservation, IPv6 migration, Web Application Firewall (WAF), SSL Intercept, Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) protection and more.

The recently announced Thunder 3030S, 1030S and 930 increase the performance for A10's ADCs with up to 30 percent more capacity, and 500 percent more SSL performance through improved hardware. All models include 10 Gb port connectivity as standard to run more services while increasing capacity for application intelligence and service offload for multiple networking and security tasks.

Customers can optimize networks, extend the lifetime of their existing devices, and reduce point solutions for device consolidation and significant CAPEX and OPEX savings. Higher 2048-bit key SSL performance enables customers to run highly secure encrypted sessions pervasively with more applications.
