Broadview Networks selects OneAccess Network’s One Series multi-service routers

OneAccess Networks says thatg itsOne Series multi-service router and gateway solutions, with integrated Bonded Copper and fiber Ethernet, have been selected by Broadview Networks for the delivery of managed services to the SMB (small- and medium-sized business) and enterprise industries/markets. The One Series offers a broad multi-service router portfolio with integrated Layer 2 technologies, reducing the cost of managed services by eliminating the need for a separate EAD, while maintaining the Layer 2 OAM management protocols.

Broadview Networks is a network-based business communications provider serving customers with a suite of communications services, including patented cloud-based VoIP systems, data services and a full suite of cloud computing services. Their customers benefit from award-winning customer service, including a Web-based account management tool and a primary point-of-contact for real-time, personal customer care.
The OneAccess One Series reduces the number of appliances required to deploy managed cloud services to the SMB and enterprise industries/markets. As a result, service providers can realize significant advantages, including improved CAPEX ROI, simplified element management, reduced inventory, seamless Quality of Service (QoS) performance and reduced field technician training.

“As the migration from barely broadband T1 circuits accelerates, service providers need high-performance multi-service router solutions that enable higher bandwidth services while reducing CAPEX and OPEX,” said Dennis R. Gatens, vice president and general manager of OneAccess Networks, North America. “The One Series provides Broadview Networks with a solution that evolves the Layer 3-centric multi-service router to an application delivery platform, enabling a roadmap of cloud services for SMB and enterprise.”

In addition to a high-performance, business class routing engine, the One Series offers application performance monitoring, control and acceleration features that enable end point visibility for delivery of high-value managed cloud services to the SMB and Enterprise customer. With OneOptimization software features, such as NetAPM, NetControl and NetBooster, Broadview Networks can evolve its existing services to include cloud-based application delivery with a software upgrade to the deployed One Series multi-service router, making it effectively an application delivery platform.
“As Broadview Networks looks to the future of Ethernet WAN technologies integrated with features that enable the delivery of cloud-based services to the SMB, OneAccess has proven its vision of an application delivery platform,” said Sanjay Patel, vice president of technology for Broadview Networks. “The ability to evolve an SMB’s services over time through software feature upgrades provides Broadview Networks with the ability to differentiate its services and offer a roadmap of cloud services to the SMB.”

“As part of our expanding global presence, we are pleased to become a vendor-partner of Broadview Networks,” said Bertrand Meis, CEO of OneAccess Networks. “Our selection by Broadview Networks reflects our commitment to deliver innovative solutions that enable higher value-managed services for SMBs and enterprises, with a roadmap to cloud services, while lowering the total cost of ownership.”

With the One Series, Broadview Networks will realize the added benefits of software feature integration that includes eSBC (enterprise Session Border Controller) and application visibility, control and optimization features that are necessary for a roadmap of high-value managed cloud services. Integration of the EAD with the Multi-Service Router is another proof point of OneAccess’ commitment to lead the evolution of the MSR from a Layer 3-centric network element to a cloud-based application delivery solution.
