adept4 adds Microsoft’s latest cloud-based service for SMEs to its offering

IT services provider adept4 is adding the latest cloud collaboration service for small and medium business to their service portfolio – Microsoft Office 365.

adept4, which is based at Daresbury Park, is now offering a full service solution to support the Microsoft Office 365 package which includes pay-as-you-go per user pricing options and reduced hardware costs.

The company will be targeting a range of national and international SMEs, but the service is especially useful for businesses with aging technology and multiple office locations. As part of the package, adept4 will manage the service delivery support and billing process, delivering a personal service wrap to an established platform

Peter Birkett, adept4 CEO, said: “With the need for greater mobility and flexibility in the workplace increasing, more and more companies are exploring the benefits of cloud computing. Growing numbers of businesses are joining the virtual platform, yet many still struggle to understand how new cloud-technology based services could help them to reduce their IT costs and boost productivity.

“We want to help businesses to understand how to maximise the potential of cloud-based services and show them how our effective full-service package creates an accessible, effective and easy-to-use platform with 24*7 support.”

Microsoft Office 365 is a virtual platform, providing people with accessibility to their work from anywhere onnearly on any device. Services, such as Office, SharePoint, Exchange and Lync videoconferencing allow them to access their emails, documents, contacts, and calendars at any time, as well as provide simple and secure collaboration with colleagues and business partners on a familiar user interface of Office applications.

In addition to reducing costs, companies who manage remote workers can also benefit from minimising the time spent managing by using streamlined provisioning on this virtual Microsoft platform. adept4’s built-in security with anti-virus and spam filtering will prevent from any unwanted interference, and round-the-clock support is also available as part of the package.

adept4 will be hosting an event ’60RUM - How Cloud Technology Can Boost Your Business’ for organisations keen to learn more about how to upgrade their systems to the latest cloud technology services and enhance their businesses efficiency. The event will be held at the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce 9am, on the 18th of October, 2013.
