AIT builds data centre for Boeing 787 Dreamliner Training School

Data Centre built for Monarch to exacting Boeing standards.

AIT Partnership Group Ltd has completed a data centre design and build project for Monarch Aircraft Engineering Ltd. Located at its Luton engineering base the new data centre is required to support their Boeing 787 Dreamliner training facility.


AIT designed and project managed the data centre build from start to finish. The project included design and installation of a three phase electrical supply system and switchgear, N+1 air conditioning, raised floor, security, fire suppression and a data centre infrastructure management (DCIM) system to provide temperature, humidity and air conditioning status monitoring.


The new data centre is designed to meet the exacting requirements of Boeing 787 Dreamliner training servers and equipment with the flexibility to increase capacity to meet the future needs of Monarch and their clients.
