Demandware selects CDNetworks

CDNetworks says that Demandware, Inc. will leverage its secure and reliable Dynamic Web Acceleration and Cloud Acceleration Services in China.

“China has a vibrant and expanding market for digital commerce. We wanted to offer an omni-channel digital commerce solution in China that was consistent with the high levels of functionality, availability and performance that we provide in other geographies around the world,” explains Tom Griffin, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, Demandware. “CDNetworks provides top-level performance for dynamic content in China, flexible integration to the Demandware Commerce platform, and local business support to optimize the delivery of our solution in China. We are very pleased with the early success we have had in China.”

Demandware powers the digital commerce businesses for more than 150 leading retailers and brands across more than 625 sites around the globe. Through its feature-rich Commerce platform, Demandware empowers retailers to execute complex digital commerce strategies that include global expansion, multi-brand rollouts and omni-channel operations. Because of the complexities in delivering content in China, Demandware adopted both CDNetworks Dynamic Web Acceleration and China Acceleration to help improve content delivery in China.

“CDNetworks is proud to contribute to Demandware’s fast-paced growth in the China market,” said Jeff Kim, President & COO, CDNetworks. “CDNetworks has the right combination of dynamic cloud acceleration and China-based infrastructure, staff, and knowledge to help ensure success for Demandware customers.”
