By utilizing two RAID controller cards (Syncro CS 9286-8e) instead of the conventional use of a server’s HBA controller card/operating system (OS), users can create a OS independent redundant server failover cluster when used in conjunction with Sans Digital’s AccSTOR Redundant 6G SAS Controller JBODS such as the AS212X6R (2U, 12-bay), AS316X6R (3U, 16-bay), and the AS424X6R (4U, 24-bay).
