Core acquires Parative

Can now enable companies to combine benefits of cloud with existing infrastructure.

Core Technology Systems, a leading provider of Microsoft Office 365 has announced the successful acquisition of Parative, a Microsoft Gold Partner specialising in IT infrastructure migrations for medium and enterprise sized companies. This exciting acquisition comes less than a month after Microsoft announced the general availability of Windows Azure Infrastructure Services and makes it possible for customers to move applications into the Cloud and take advantage of their existing company infrastructure services and Cloud platform services within a hybrid scenario, using Cloud as an innovator.

Core were one of the first Microsoft Partners to achieve Cloud Accelerate Status in the United Kingdom and this acquisition further broadens the Microsoft service offering from their Cloud department, strengthening their position as one of the UK's leading practices for Office 365 consultancy, migration and support. It has immediately doubled Core’s Office 365 capacity as well as increasing their specialist in-house skills in Windows Azure and Unified Communications.

Speaking on the day of the acquisition Conor Callanan, Core CEO said "Through the enhanced skills and experience offered by Lloyd Carnie, Cloud Director and Tim Eichmann, Cloud Technical Director, Core is now able to offer companies the strength of their existing on-premise IT systems with the flexibility of Cloud technology." Callanan continued, "By doubling our capacity and in-house services at a time when we have seen exponential growth in Microsoft Office 365, there is no reason why this growth should not continue and exceed last year’s record breaking results."

"We are delighted with the acquisition of Parative into the Core family," stated Lloyd Carnie, CEO at Parative. "We have extensive experience of complex messaging system design, migration and identity management together with a thriving Office 365 practice. We are looking forward to working with Core and adding great value and advanced skill sets into the current Core dynamic."
