Carrenza becomes an Official G-Cloud iii Supplier

Carrenza has been awarded a place on the UK government’s G-Cloud iii framework as an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provider. The UK Government is committed to the adoption of cloud computing and the G-Cloud iii programme is an iterative programme of work to achieve this, delivering fundamental changes in the way the UK public sector procures and operates ICT.

Acceptance onto the programme qualifies Carrenza as a provider of cloud services and will enable the company to supply its award winning IaaS to the UK public sector; services currently used by some of the UK’s most dynamic enterprises.

Dan Sutherland, CEO, Carrenza says; “As we look to the future we are delighted that the government is to utilise cloud technology to deliver savings and keep up with the pace of change in the online world. Being one of the first UK organisations to deliver cloud services, with the launch of our IaaS platform in 2006, we have always strived to be innovative in using technology to solve business challenges. And we believe our proven experience in delivering cloud services will give us a competitive advantage, enabling us to respond to customer requirements quicker than would otherwise be possible and be of great benefit to the UK public sector.”
