G-Cloud is the UK Government programme aimed at encouraging the public sector to adopt cloud computing and access beneficial economics and sustainability of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). It fundamentally changes the way the public sector procures and operates ICT.
Amor’s G-Cloud III Framework offering extends the scale of what it provided as part of G-Cloud II and now includes Infrastructure as a Service (Lot 1); Software as a Service (Lot 3) and Specialist Services (Lot 4).
Since joining the G-Cloud II framework in October 2012 Amor has secured approximately £900,000 of business for public sector clients.
Alastair O’Brien, Public Services Sector Director, Amor Group said: “We are proud to be part of this innovative Government programme at the forefront of the public sector ICT revolution. It is testament to the relevance and quality of the services we offer that we have again succeeded in gaining a place on the Framework.
“Our services cover the full Cloud transformation and service transition lifecycle, but are also designed to be stand-alone. This means we can draw on our expertise to best suit clients’ specific needs and their position on the Cloud journey. Our services extend beyond the scope of Cloud and can be tailored and scaled to meet the demands of most business and ICT transformation programmes.”
The framework will run for 12 months supporting the next generation of UK cloud services in the public sector. It allows Amor to extend and grow the portfolio available to public sector bodies.
