Carrenza’s Amsterdam Cloud Node goes live

Infrastructure as a Service provider Carrenza go live with mainland European cloud services.

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provider Carrenza announces that the Amsterdam node of its award winning cloud platform has gone live.

The new node has undergone rigorous testing before being brought into production, including being used to provide supporting systems for this year’s hugely successful Red Nose Day campaign.

Connected to Carrenza’s two London nodes via secure multi gigabit fibre, and based in Equinix’s award winning AM3 datacentre, the new node allows Carrenza to offer additional and extended services to its customer and partner base.

Dan Sutherland, CEO , Carrenza comments; "Expanding into Amsterdam means we can offer enhanced services to existing customers, as well as allowing us to better support multinational and mainland Europe-based organisations with a more localised service."

As well as Amsterdam offering new business opportunities for Carrenza, it will also benefit Carrenza’s channel partners; resellers, software vendors, service providers and integrators who use the Carrenza IaaS platform as a core component of their service offerings.

Sutherland continues; "The new Amsterdam node is also helping us to expand our channel; we have already signed a channel reseller for the Dutch market, i3 groep, and we have partnered with global software provider Intershop to deliver cloud Ecommerce to customers across EMEA."
