The NetApp Partner Awards recognise the commitment of NetApp’s partners to ‘the pursuit of excellence, innovation and quality’. Softcat has partnered with NetApp for over seven years, helping the partner to deliver its storage solutions to the right markets. NetApp is one of Softcat’s biggest vendors, and the reseller has delivered significant sales growth for its products over the past year in particular.

Martin Hellawell, Softcat’s chairman, expressed his delight at winning the NetApp Platinum Partner of the Year award. “What a win – we’re thrilled. We’ve seen huge growth since last year, and it’s all down to the great people at Softcat and NetApp who work together hand in hand to generate exceptional levels of engagement with our customers. We really have gone all out over the past 18 months to ensure we deliver results, so it’s great to receive this recognition. We’ve invested heavily in our sales team in order to enhance revenue growth, and as a result we’ve connected to a number of prestigious customers and secured some excellent business for NetApp. I think particular credit is due to our joint technical teams who have designed and implemented some world class solutions together and our resulting customer satisfaction has been outstanding.”

“Ebow fully deserves the NetApp UK Sales Individual award – he has been instrumental in growing our relationship with NetApp over the past 18 months,” said Krishna Keshvara, Softcat’s Storage and Virtualisation Business Manager. “He’s been so committed to achieving results for our customers, Softcat and NetApp; his focus and determination is extraordinary. Add to this his natural ability with people: he has excellent relationships with various NetApp personnel. He speaks to all the right contacts and has secured and developed strong connections with a range of customers, closing a lot of good business off the back of it.”
