Personalised cloud-based unified communications and collaboration service

Damovo Collaboration as a Service (CaaS) to deliver on-demand voice applications, collaboration tools and mobile capabilities.

Damovo UK, the enterprise ICT solutions and services provider, has launched Damovo Collaboration as a Service (CaaS) to provide mid-market organisations with secure on-demand access to Cisco’s market-leading unified communications and collaboration applications. Damovo CaaS is a fully-managed suite of hosted communications solutions, which can seamlessly integrate with or replace an organisation’s existing communications infrastructure. This allows organisations to cost-effectively build and manage bespoke services to meet their business needs.

Damovo CaaS has Cisco’s Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS) at the core, with applications being delivered from secure, high-availability data centres. Currently Damovo is one of the first service providers in the UK offering Cisco HCS to mid-market organisations. Damovo CaaS offers organisations access to Cisco’s unified communications product portfolio - for voice and video, voicemail, presence, contact centre, collaboration and conferencing products.

As a cloud service Damovo CaaS removes many of the traditional barriers facing mid-market organisations when it comes to them investing in on-premise communication and collaboration technologies. It can transform the capex costs of an on-premise solution to opex costs, whist at the same time ensuring that organisations are on the latest version of the technology. In addition organisations can quickly realise cost and productivity benefits. For instance, the latest voice applications can reduce PBX costs by up to 30%, while fixed-mobile convergence capabilities can enable organisations to extend business features to any mobile handset.

“Due to the potential flexibility and cost savings it offers, we see more organisations looking for services from the cloud to replace their existing communications infrastructures that are at or reaching end of life,” said Simon Payne, Managing Director Damovo UK. “Research we carried out last year revealed that nearly three-quarters of organisations said they would be more likely to embrace unified communications technology if they were able to provide it via a managed cloud. Damovo CaaS provides mid-market organisations with immediate access to enterprise-grade unified communications and collaboration technology, which they can easily scale and, most importantly, tailor to their needs. Furthermore, organisations can have peace of mind that our cloud specialists will be on hand throughout from design to implementation and day-to-day support. Ultimately, organisations want the reassurance of an SLA-backed offering from a provider that they can trust.”
