VMware, Inc. has announced the appointment of Tony Scott to the role of senior vice president and chief information officer (CIO) of VMware. Scott will manage VMware’s global information technology organization, a group that manages critical technology systems supporting the company’s worldwide business operations. Scott will report to Pat Gelsinger, VMware’s chief executive officer.
